Hi, Angela and I thought it was time for another swap. Instead of giving a topic, this time we are giving you a blank cupcake wrapper to use as a base for your design. The wrapper was drawn by Angela. We would like as many people as possible to participate and encourage beginners to give it a try.

The swap will run for two weeks and end at midnight on the 6th of November.
Create your design and upload a photo or screenshot in this section. Do not upload the svg file here.
I will create a new section for members to upload the svg, so other participants can download the files.

For any members who are new to using Inkscape you may find Pattern Along Path will be the easiest way to get your design to follow the shape of the wrapper. I have attached some paths that follow the contours of the wrapper to this post to help you get started.

edited. Angela has updated the cupcake wrapper and the path lines are included on the same file.

That looks great, I'm like you first cupcake wrapper after the alterations; always had the rough draft just didn't really do anything with it until now of course.....

Not too sure the gingham was a good idea as the cut inevitably spoils the pattern. I must try it with something like a small flower or even plain.

Technomum as soon as I saw your design all I could think of was a cupcake display for a Little Girls party......

Here's my contribution. I'd seen them go by but had never tried them either. Probably because I don't bake.
