I thank you for the leads on the fonts, But I have just lost a fair amount of time and plan on losing more over there at that sawmill site. It sure doesn't take much to get me off track of what I am supposed to be doing...LOL
In the first post I added a link to a blog post showing how to download the Hershey Extension for Inkscape. Here is a video showing how you can use the font for rhinestone and other projects. I have made a second video showing how to use the other single fonts and will upload it as soon as I finish editing the video.
Hi Darcy, I downloaded the font and had a look. It is not single line. I have attached a screenshot. You can use any font with a pen, it just depends on the look you are after. If I want a handwritten look I like single line fonts. Sometimes I like to use other fonts and use a fill to give a more solid look.

If you ever need to test a font to see if it is single or double line - type some text - apply path>object to path - view in outline mode In outline mode you will clearly see a black outline and that is the path the blade will follow.
