Okay, I thought I already posted this question.... but I guess I'm imagining things! I am trying to figure out if I can use the fonts in Inkscape for commercial purposes. I have looked online and can't find the answer. Since the program is Open Source I am guessing I can, but I don't want to violate any copyright laws. I'm sure someone out there has an answer for me!

I only know that when you download some of them say for commercial use and some say for personal use

Inkscape doesn't have any fonts of its own, it just uses the fonts installed on your computer. So the answer would depend on the individual font.

Don't remember the details for Windows, but am pretty sure that you can find that under Properties (or something similar like Font Info) for the actual font file. Also, here's a great resource of fonts you can use commercially. http://www.fontsquirrel.com
