Is it possible to cut out shapes with colour and if so how , I have a Cricut Personel and using fairy cut, I also have inkscape. I find this forum very informative and have learned quite a few things. When I manage to cut out something in fairy cut after converting files and what have you I feel very pleased with myself then I have a senior moment and think, how did I do that now.

Hi, I am unable to answer this questions as I do not own a Cricut. Hopefully one of the Cricut ladies will be along soon and can answer this question for you.

I think most Cricut users who visit this forum use SCAL (I could be wrong). Just in case there are no owners of Fairy Cut I will give you a few links that may be useful. Fairy Cut is a Cricut version of Funtime software and I think a few features differ but it is basically the same software. I know of two sites with videos showing how to use Funtime software and I have added the links below. Funtime videos http://www.funtimescrapbooking.com/Videos/Videos.aspxMelinda has some easy to follow videos http://www.youtube.com/user/lovemyzombie Melinda also runs a group on Yahoo for Funtime users and may be able to help if nobody answers this post. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/funtimesoftware/

I'm not sure exactly what your question is. But if you are cutting on a Cricut you just lay out the colored paper on the mat to line up with the images in your software. Since I don't know FairyCut but I'll search around for a video and see how it is done. I'll get back here soon.

Me again, unfortunately all of the video's from Fairy Cut have no audio and I didn't find much anyway. I did go to the Fairy Cut forum and I think you would be well served to go there. It appears that a "guru" is answering questions pretty quickly. http://fairycut.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=549I cannot download the software to try it since I have a MAC and it doesn't work on a Mac. Perhaps someone else will come by with more/better information for you. I'll keep watching.
