The simple answer is Yes you can.bThe harder one is how to do it. I do not have MTC because I have a Mac which mTC does not support. but there are any number of tuts on how to do it.

Here is just one to take a look at

Svgcuts have some too. A google search will provide you with several others.

SusanBlueRobot has some as well. Check out here tutorial list in a post above.

Perhaps someone here will come along with more

I use Inkscape for designing and Make the Cut for cutting. I will try to help but Andy or Bryan on the MTC forum will be able to help you better if the following steps fail.

1- You can copy in Inkscape and paste directly into MTC. This is the method I use.
2- If you do not plan to cut the Inkscape file immediately there are a few settings you can try changing in Inkscape so it will import when using MTC. See screenshot below.

I did read a while ago on the MTC forum that you may have to select all of your design, use the arrow to move the whole file up, down, right and left. In other words it will be back to where the design was originally placed but it will change how it is saved in Inkscape. I did try to find the post explaining how to change the settings so you could read accurate information but failed. Here are a few links that may help you further.

Thanks so much. I will try these out this weekend when I have more time. I have done some searches and always find the tutorials don't really apply to what I am looking for. All of this info is much appreciated. :D :D :D Leslie
