Inkscape 0.48 - star tool
« on: May 09, 2011, 10:24:23 PM »
Just sharing the wide variety of shapes that can be created with the star tool and adjusting the options. It's fun and addictive!

That does it, looks like I need to try this out on some plain white ceramic tiles that I got from the local DIY shop. I'm sure some of those designs would look good cut from vinyl and layered on the white tile and then I suppose I would have to vanish them to make them water proof........Will let you know soon.......

That sounds like fun Angela...you'll have to post pics! I mentioned the 0.48 version of Inkscape mainly because I'm reviewing a book on techniques but I had never utilized this feature until I read about it in the book so I had to try it. I love it when it's so easy and it looks like I spent some time working on it!

I just posted a file for these stars also created with the star tool but I edited some nodes to simplify for cutting.
