Good Morning, what a surprise to see you here today....wondering if it was still up and running...I think I know that the time is growing short and came to download some last minute files before the forum goes dark.  I did just download the new version of Inkscape (thanks) and will play today.

So we can discuss as we find things and work and don't.

NOT a Happy Camper today!  I downloaded the new version for my mac and now my extensions to export to ecal are gone and I cannot get them restored, my PDF preview doesn't work either.  Of course it could be that I've forgotten how to get this all to work but right now I'm just frustrated.  I'll let you know if I figure it out or if anyone else on a mace gets it back to working with ecal export and pdf preview I'd love it.

tks

Ooh, so glad I didn't install it.  I would be a very unhappy camper if I lost my export plug-in.

I also wish I had waited, strange things are happening and it just closes on me. I think I will un-install and wait for a while.

Hhmm, this is the first I've heard of this kind of problem with 0.91.  If anyone finds they are still having problems, please post in the appropriate section on the forum, for your particular hardware/software.

Edit

I know that they rearranged the Extensions menu in 0.91, and some extensions are not where they used to be.  So maybe you just need to look around.

Or the other thing I'm thinking -- if you installed the extensions in the main Inkscape directory (where you installed the program) instead of in  your user account directory, they surely can be lost when you upgrade to a new version.

It's probably not a bad idea to look in the places where you first downloaded the extensions, to find out if there are newer versions available.

Next, go to Inkscape Preferences > System > User Extensions.  That's the path to where extensions should be installed.  If you install them there, then they will always be available, no matter which Inkscape version you may want to use.  At least that's how I understand it  :)
