Table top
« on: March 14, 2015, 09:03:04 AM »
I thought it was about time I posted a project. I needed a larger table in my workroom and decided to do something fun and different instead of leaving it plain.
I painted the top with blackboard paint so I can write on the table. I created some stencils in Inkscape, cut them out of Mylar, then stencilled the table top.

The large stencil at the front is only 12x12 inches.

Hi (old) friend!  I have been away from cutting/designing for a long while, and while perusing what others have been up to, I came across your name, and looked you up. Very cool about the laser cutting business! Love to hear more about that. I am in love with your table. I had done a design to do one many moons ago, after seeing a commercial stencil for one, but never got around to creating the table top. (We moved, down-sized, and I am still trying to figure out where everything that we kept, goes.) I hope all is well with you!
