Title: I'm LNpellen
Post by: LNpellen on July 16, 2013, 03:05:56 PM
I have from time to time dropped into this forum, but now as a registered user.
I've been using Inkscape for my Silhouette for some years now, but being a busy working mother with children who hate falling asleep have restricted the hobby ;)

Lately I've seen the contours of getting my creative evenings back and I tested my gel pens for the Silhouette for the second time and recalled that there was an issue with single line font, not as easy available as ttf fonts. So I dug into this and ended up posting the results of the findings and my first inkscape extensions on my blog.

So I realize that this forum might be a fun playground  for me. I really like the cutter/inkscape combo and even more after touching into the world of creating extensions for inkscape ;)

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Did you use the Hershey extension or did you create your own extension? I would love to read your blog post but you forgot to give us a link  :D . I am sure other members would also enjoy visiting your blog.

Feel free to join in any topic or ask any questions. Members are also welcome to start their own topics and teach us more about Inkscape. I look forward to hearing more about your projects.

I put the blog-link in the signature, but for some reason the signature did not get saved. Now it seems to work.

I have tried the Hershey font extension, but I also created my own extensions to be able to choose from more fonts and creating my own fonts :)
