Title: Problem saving file as .plt
Post by: ButtonMan on October 26, 2017, 12:09:34 PM
Hello everyone. I'm brand new to this forum so please let me know if this question should be posted in another area. I need a file format that can be used for a laser engraver rather than a cutter. This is the forum I found that's closest to what I'm doing. I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 on a Windows 7 PC. I can't save my file as .plt. The acceptable vector formats for the laser software are dxf, ai, plt, dst, dsb. I found instructions online explaining how to install UniConvertor to solve the problem but after following the instructions as best I could I still cannot save as .plt. I get an error message when I try to save. Can anyone help with this? Thanks!
