You girls are funny! Now, really, couldn't you see a pretty hair piece?!

The second one makes me think more of Thailand...just beautiful little designs Angel. It could be a little princess crown.

I thought the first one could be nice for hair in a bun, I used to wear a leather piece with a stick through it when I was a teenager...a friend had made it for me so I see something kinda like this...

Well, I'm a night owl and I'm on Mountain Standard Time (MST) so it's 10:40pm here...and trust me if I was even awake at 5:40am, I would not be sociable enough to be online!

Catching up on American Idol with hubby...getting ready to take a bath, doing laundry for office...have a massage appointment in the office at 9:30 (office is just off the living room so I don't have to travel far!)...that's the earliest I like to start because I work many nights so I don't want to be in there all day...I need a little design therapy now and then!
Title: Re: SwirlyCorner1
Post by: Angel13 on February 01, 2012, 10:52:15 PM
Wow Wow Wow......I'm only sociable because I use to work nights for 17 years and that ended in 2004, and now that I'm unemployed at the moment my body clock has reverted back into night mode, so soon I will be heading for a little sleepy......
Title: Re: SwirlyCorner1
Post by: lkc on February 01, 2012, 11:13:39 PM
I should more correctly say evening...my latest regular appointments are usually booked at 7pm but often it is an hour and a half so I'm not done until 8:45pm by the time they are ready to roll out the door until the next time! I really enjoy the work but I try not to book too many appointments. Usually my creativeness is greater in the evening...but when I saw that little design this morning...well, I think you know the rest!

Mojo is good!

The three of them makes me think of the hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil...not sure if that's the usual order but...

I like the look without the chin. I am into the negative space look (examples here if you don't know what I am talking about https://www.google.com/search?q=white+s ... 66&bih=653 (https://www.google.com/search?q=white+space+logos&hl=en&prmd=imvns&source=lnms&tbm=isch&ei=kXcsT4CjGeOSiAfPmeS6Bw&sa=X&oi=mode_link&ct=mode&cd=2&ved=0CBgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1366&bih=653#hl=en&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=negative+space+logos&oq=negative+space+logos&aq=f&aqi=g1g-m1g-S1g-mS4&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=17492l18797l2l19062l5l5l0l0l0l0l297l1306l2-5l5l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.,cf.osb&fp=6f314b460ad6d700&biw=1366&bih=653) )

Flip flop thingies, lol, we call them thongs in Australia. I will leave the design elements up to those who can draw and I will continue to sit back and what the developments.

Oh Carolyn!!! You've done it again, given me another favorite google page to drool over; I have to admit I have never heard that term 'negative space logos' this could turn into a challenge!!!!
Title: Re: SwirlyCorner1
Post by: Aussie Carolyn on February 03, 2012, 06:03:14 PM
I have been collecting negative space images for over a year but haven't worked out how to make my own unique designs. I think we need a new topic and so we can all experiment. I need some inspiration.

BTW it is used on more than logo's but they seem to present some of the best examples. Basically we have all been looking at it for years but didn't realise,
