Crash with kerning fonts
« on: February 07, 2014, 09:57:15 AM »
I have the latest version on Inkscape (.48) but I'm still having the crash when trying to kern a font. No matter how I do it. It's SO frustrating. Can anybody offer advice??

Since you're asking about fonts, how many fonts do you have installed on your computer?  Too many fonts can cause problems.

If you don't get an answer here you might need to ask on the Inkscape forum.  http://www.inkscapeforum.com

My experience is that the SVG font editor in Inkscape is crashing a lot. The kerning part I've totally given up on. I try to do the kerning in FontForge which also crashes a lot at least with my Windows version (Vista). I think I've read that it is more stable on Linux.
