The Future of this Forum:

The Inkscape Project will open its first official forum, on the Inkscape website, this August (2019). (Address/link will be provided at that time.) When that happens, new registrations will no longer be allowed in this forum and Inkscape support will be provided in the new forum. This forum will still be open for a while, so that existing topics can be finished, and existing users can have access to their contents. But all potential new members should register on the Inkscape website, and post their questions in the new forum, starting in August. If you have any questions or comments, you can post them here.

Since there haven't been any new messages for so long, and no one has ever replied to this message of mine I'm considering closing this forum entirely, in approx 6 months. If anyone has any comments about that, please feel free to post them.

Guitar WordArt

For my favorite nephew, the guitar player done with Tagul.com and Inkscape.  Just sharing so you could see what great stuff you can do.  In another post and on my blog I explain how it is done in Tagul/Inkscape.  If you go to Tagul look at the Tut using a giraffe.  All I did was to add the color version of the giraffe in Inkscape to the open space that Tagul created.

Great fun, and guys appreciate that is isn't "girly"

Pandora, mine always opens in English.  I poked around a bit to see where to change select a language but can't find anywhere to do it. I do know that this is pretty much a one man show….his name is Alex and he does answer questions.  Are you sure you are enter TAGUL.com and not tagalog? :)

I can post the question on the forum or you can but give it a go again.  Maybe because you are in the UK….dunno!

Let me know how you do, it is great fun and a little different that patterned paper.
