Cowboy boots
« on: September 08, 2010, 05:37:49 AM »
I have included a two colour version and the stencil of the boots. I have also included a two colour version and the matching stencil of the boot with a plain top.
I have test cut these files and the black layer of the two colour boots is very fine. If you have difficulty cutting very fine detail you may prefer to use the stencil version.

Love the image but the textured background makes all the difference in bringing the boots alive.

Thanks,

Hi Susan, the textured backgrounds were done in Inkscape. I always test cut with plain white cardstock. I just haven't had time to make a good example yet.

Have a great time on your holiday.

I gotta tell the story.I was about 5 and mom gave me the 45rpm record for my birthday and Downtown too. I would put the record on and I didn't have any fancy boots but I had outdoors boots. But before I put the music to play I would put on my boots play my records and sing my heart out,until......Mom came  in and I would get in trouble for wearing those boots in the house, turn off the record player and my party was over but I loved Nancy Sinatra soooo much. I wanted to grow up to be just like her and Marry her brother.

Thank You So Much Laura!!!!

Hi Laurianne, I cannot take credit for the boots as they are a trace from a colouring page. Sorry but cannot remember the site at the moment.

Ok if we are gonna fess up.  Mine was listening to The Beatles and I was going to marry Paul McCartney.  Funny how we did the same things when we were little.
