If you cut from Inkscape via Sign Cut and get double cutting, this is because both the stroke and fill are recognised as cutting paths. To prevent double cuts just use either stroke or fill, not both.

If you like to create designs with stroke and fill, cut by colour to prevent double cuts. For example on a red design with black outline, select just the red or just the black when you open Sign Cut.

When using Inkscape to create designs ensure opacity is set at 100%. If you use opacity to make your design transparent, it is not always visible in Sign Cut. If opacity is used it can also cause Sign Cut to crash.

When working with images in Inkscape they have to removed before sending to Sign Cut or it can cause the program to crash.
- Either save the file first and then delete the bitmap image, send to Sign Cut, cut out your design, return to Inkscape and Undo.
- Or work in layers and the layer containing the bitmap image can be closed when sending to Sign Cut.
I will be adding a tutorial of the steps involved to create a print and cut project using layers.
