Red line, black line
« on: December 19, 2010, 11:05:38 AM »
When you're trying to edit a shape/line and use the nodes with "handles" I can move them about and  that alters the red line but the black line stays where it is.  What is the difference between the red line and the black line and how do you change the black line?

Hope that makes sense.

Hi Ruth

If you look at the picture attached you will see that when you select a black line to alter it changes to a RED line with little squares(nodes) at different intervals, and when you move a node and then deselect the the Node Tool button you should see that the shape has changed.

You can see the rest of the pictorial here: http://www.inkscapecuttingdesign.com/smf/index.php?topic=71.0
