The Future of this Forum:

The Inkscape Project will open its first official forum, on the Inkscape website, this August (2019). (Address/link will be provided at that time.) When that happens, new registrations will no longer be allowed in this forum and Inkscape support will be provided in the new forum. This forum will still be open for a while, so that existing topics can be finished, and existing users can have access to their contents. But all potential new members should register on the Inkscape website, and post their questions in the new forum, starting in August. If you have any questions or comments, you can post them here.

Since there haven't been any new messages for so long, and no one has ever replied to this message of mine I'm considering closing this forum entirely, in approx 6 months. If anyone has any comments about that, please feel free to post them.

Unable to cut from Inkscape
« on: May 09, 2011, 01:23:03 PM »
Hello everyone,

Can anyone help please.   After cutting from Inkscape with absolutely no problems this morning, I tried to cut the same design after lunch and, although the computer seems to be talking to the CraftRobo as I can hear a click-sort of sound, it's doesn't cut.     Thinking there might be a problem with the Craftrobo machine itself,  I tried cutting from Robomaster and Silhouette and had no problems at all.

I've uninstalled and re-installed Inkscape but still can't cut from it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Jan

Hi Angel,
Thank you so much, I've just checked the cutline settings and it wasn't on the darkest black so I changed it and bingo it cut fine.  Still can't work out how it cut before lunch yesterday but not after lunch, somewhere along the line I must have done something that changed the setting.   Anyway it's just worked fine so many thanks.  I'll try it again when I get back later and make sure all's well.
