The Future of this Forum:

The Inkscape Project will open its first official forum, on the Inkscape website, this August (2019). (Address/link will be provided at that time.) When that happens, new registrations will no longer be allowed in this forum and Inkscape support will be provided in the new forum. This forum will still be open for a while, so that existing topics can be finished, and existing users can have access to their contents. But all potential new members should register on the Inkscape website, and post their questions in the new forum, starting in August. If you have any questions or comments, you can post them here.

Since there haven't been any new messages for so long, and no one has ever replied to this message of mine I'm considering closing this forum entirely, in approx 6 months. If anyone has any comments about that, please feel free to post them.

Stationary
« on: November 01, 2011, 09:40:46 AM »
Couple days ago I decided to try my hand at creating the lines on stationary, so started up Inkscape 0.48 and using the Bezier tool, I drew a number of lines, across the sheet.  Now, after I completed the lines, I clicked on object to path (don't really know why since I was not creating this as a svg file), and saved as a .png file.  Printed it out and trimmed down to the size I wanted for the NoteCard Box Holders I created for a design team I am a member of.....

Here is the pictures of my work....

The first sheet I stamped the Three Pumpkins on a Unicycle colored the image.  The second sheet I stamped the image and left it as is.

Well, that's my work for the day...I'm going to fix myself something to eat and go onto something else to do.  Hugs to all.

Great idea and your stationary looks wonderful.
I have been trying to think of small gifts to make for unexpected visitors over the Christmas break and something similar in a matching box would be perfect.
