The Future of this Forum:

The Inkscape Project will open its first official forum, on the Inkscape website, this August (2019). (Address/link will be provided at that time.) When that happens, new registrations will no longer be allowed in this forum and Inkscape support will be provided in the new forum. This forum will still be open for a while, so that existing topics can be finished, and existing users can have access to their contents. But all potential new members should register on the Inkscape website, and post their questions in the new forum, starting in August. If you have any questions or comments, you can post them here.

Since there haven't been any new messages for so long, and no one has ever replied to this message of mine I'm considering closing this forum entirely, in approx 6 months. If anyone has any comments about that, please feel free to post them.

Help please
« on: November 30, 2012, 07:39:16 AM »
I found another Inkscape forum, http://www.inkscapeforum.it , but I can't seem to register. It is written in Italian and I am wondering if when I try to register something gets lost in translation. Does anyone know anything about this forum?

About 5 posts down on that page is a post international version and if you click on it you get english.  I haven't tried joining yet but at least I can read the posts ;)

http://inkscapeforum.it/international-s ... cbrtcc5r13

On my Mac at the very top of the page Google has a meu item for selecting ENGLISH.  I tried that and it seems like most of the posts in International are readable.

Saw one post recommending CleverSomeday.  I'll keep looking.  There are a couple of interesting tutorials tool.

Thanks,

I can read it fine with my translation, but I just can't register. Oh well, at least I can look around. :)

I got to the point where you enter the username etc, but I couldn't see the "are you a human" letters well enough to enter them.  But like you I could browse and look at posts.
