The Future of this Forum:

The Inkscape Project will open its first official forum, on the Inkscape website, this August (2019). (Address/link will be provided at that time.) When that happens, new registrations will no longer be allowed in this forum and Inkscape support will be provided in the new forum. This forum will still be open for a while, so that existing topics can be finished, and existing users can have access to their contents. But all potential new members should register on the Inkscape website, and post their questions in the new forum, starting in August. If you have any questions or comments, you can post them here.

Since there haven't been any new messages for so long, and no one has ever replied to this message of mine I'm considering closing this forum entirely, in approx 6 months. If anyone has any comments about that, please feel free to post them.

I agree whoo ooo! I am another one who has been absent with life getting in the way of crafting.

If anyone is wondering why the forum went offline for a while. The web host upgraded and all websites had to be migrated to new servers. Something went wrong and our forum was not accessible. The delay in getting the forum back online was the fact I could not find the log-on details to contact them via the internal ticket system.

Inkspots, your summer themed SVGs sound interesting. I hope you find them soon.

Susan, I see you have been very creative with Inkscape lately and your projects look lovely.

I lost my mojo for a long time and didn't even open Inkscape. About a week ago I had a bit of spare time and decided to play in Inkscape and I am now full of creative ideas. I need to do a bit more testing on a few experiments before I post my results. I am dabbling with rhinestone designs and thermal vinyls. On Monday I spent a few hours at the supplier's and was shown how to be creative with a range of thermal vinyls. My head is now full of ideas.

Any new tutorials will take longer to prepare as they will have to be written tutorials. The developers have moved in and we are surrounding by heavy machinery as they remove all the lovely trees to create a new housing estate. The noise level of huge gum trees being knocked down and mulched is horrendous. It is too noisy to even think of creating a video.

So happy your Mojo is back Caroline, I really do appreciate all your tutorials, whether they be written or video.  I learn something new each time I view one.  I am glad things are back on this forum, this is the first place I check when I have a question about Inksacpe.  The more I use the program the more I am liking it.
