The Future of this Forum:

The Inkscape Project will open its first official forum, on the Inkscape website, this August (2019). (Address/link will be provided at that time.) When that happens, new registrations will no longer be allowed in this forum and Inkscape support will be provided in the new forum. This forum will still be open for a while, so that existing topics can be finished, and existing users can have access to their contents. But all potential new members should register on the Inkscape website, and post their questions in the new forum, starting in August. If you have any questions or comments, you can post them here.

Since there haven't been any new messages for so long, and no one has ever replied to this message of mine I'm considering closing this forum entirely, in approx 6 months. If anyone has any comments about that, please feel free to post them.

Hi All
« on: May 17, 2014, 09:53:52 PM »
Just a quick HELLO to old and new forum visitors, still in love with my old grey silhouette baby and Inkscape V47; which I get to play with at the weekends if I'm lucky. I have decided that there are not enough crafting hours in a day, hence why I'm awake at 4:48am in the morning here in good old England.......Oh well bye again for now got a leaving card to make......

'OH' wow didn't realise this picture would actually load, but just in case you are wondering this was the main design of a wedding card for an Indian couple in Malaysia.....

Angela, so happy to see you back, you've been missed.

Love this design!  I remember waaaay back we did a challenge that resulted in a number of wonderful designs in this style.

Oh the good ole days when we had lots of active members creating and sharing.

Thanks for posting this.

So good to hear from both of you. Isn't it so difficult to keep up with all the things we'd like to accomplish. Perhaps I will have som time this summer for some crafting.

Amazing card - in awe of your ability - like you get up early

sitting here in Wandsworth watching the rain pile down the windows and all I keep thinking is - great time to play indoors with my new toys on a very wet Bank Holiday - start a new contract tomorrow so will have to buckle down and do all the washing /ironing etc before I start back to work - so it is worth getting up early

Your card design in beautiful. I bet they were happy when they received it.

I was like Susan and immediately thought of the fun you created when posting some of your shape designs. I miss the old days and wish I had time to craft.
