Enabler Alert - SCAL and Sizzix eclips
« on: November 08, 2011, 11:28:56 AM »
If you are an SCAL2 user and are looking for a new cutter take a look at the Sizzix eclips.  CraftEdge is on the verge of releasing a special version for the eclips and svgcuts.com is offering a great discount on the software and the cutter.  No word as yet as to whether CE will provide the new software free for current users of SCAL2 as they did with SCAL3...that would be great if they did huh?

Although CraftEdge said it would be available at the end of October other sites are now projecting mid November.

This is the cutter I think I want, seems to have some really wonderful features.

Check it out here.

I was at one of the wholesalers on Monday and they stock the Eclips. I was hoping to see a demonstration but the person who handles them had a day off. They assure me it leaves rings around the Cricut but I refuse to buy until I personally see how good it cuts. If it is good I may return to selling machines and revive my business.
If you buy one I would be interested in hearing how much you like the cuts. BTW the wholesale price in Australia is a lot higher than the price you can purchase it for from your site link. So unfair when our dollar has pretty much matched your dollar for a year.
